When asked how to describe her sound, 18 year old Carly Tefft responds with, “There’s a lot of rock and roll influence from The Police, mixed with some funky alternative roots from Sheryl Crow and Jason Mraz, blended with the lighter sounds of Sara Bareilles and Colbie Caillat.”

Tefft strives to be “creative without being cliché." With one year at Berklee College of Music under her belt, Tefft has hit the ground running releasing her first independent studio EP, “Loud and Clear” world wide in March of 2012 which has been hitting the airwaves of stations such as 95.9fm WATD, 92.7fm WMVY, 101.9 WCIB “The Cheap Seats. In a recent review, Kathleen Szmit of The Barnstable Patriot says, “an album that could easily hold its own against the likes of Gwen Stefani, Hayley Willians, Sara Bareilles and, yes, Taylor Swift." Tefft has also had in-studio performances at 92.9WBOS and 95.9fm’s “Almost Famous,” "Twilight Showcase Radio" and “South Shore Live.”
